for those who live in eastern asia - do also boys watch it there? it looks like 80% of series were made for girls, though also boys can love it (especially korean historic series)

 

they are better than the american series (or latin telenovelas), great plot and not too long.

a year ago i watched  the trailer of boys over flowers and fell for this drama. but only after i'd watched it in english, my cousin told me where i can watch this drama with hebrew sub (my native language).

i hate her. 

since then i watched over 30 dramas in this israeli web & viki and in this week i began my first series from china  (but for some reason they always talk about taiwan)

Just finished "Heartless City".

My first drama was "Iris".

J-drama, not so much cuz it is hard to find good ones.

there are some good j-dramas but koreans are the best

i so wanted to watch it but it looked like it has sad end especially after koizora

but now i dont care, dramas with bad ends are the best. i think ill watch it after the chinese one

Actually I have watched a lot of J. Chan movies and Shaolin soccer, and you can't say I'm wrong since it's only my personal opinion and most of them do look like each other to me.
 

Even anime characters are white, cuz asians would look too much like each other

I have to admit that in Turkey Asian Dramas are very popular. But I don't like them.

I don't like asian movies.

The women always make weird whimpering noises, as if they didn't want to be there, and the men just look dead or like they're robots. Plus, they're both so small and usually have little stuff, it's not good. I prefer American, German or French productions.

Ichi rittoru no namida is probably the most sad series ever written/filmed, but it's also a masterpiece and Erika Sawajiri acting performance is outstanding in this dorama

Remember to keep a box of tissue near to you, it will make you cry a lot, really!

 

Anyway my favourite type of dramas are commedy, like "My boss my hero", "Densha otoko", "Kekkon dekinai otoko", "Nodame cantabile" ecc...

I heard of several acquaintances of mine that liked A Litre of Tears (Ichi rittoru no namida) but I didn't have a watch of it; I saw a bit of The man that doesn't want to get married (Kekkon dekinai otoko) and it was funny.
