Why not creating here subforums for every country with only access to citizens of that country? This to have on official forum in stead of several ones.

I'm pretty sure that every country already has it own private forum and now change to this forum may not please the citizens.
However a subforum for each country is a very nice idea ^-^

no way, last time the forums had a seperate section for countries the admins put in bad people into the position of moderator for that country
its better to just let each country organise themselves the way they want

I prefer outside forums for countries, like almost every country had had before this forum was created.

AFAIK all countries have their own forum elsewhere. I don't know why you would want one here too.

It will take months before they "implement" it! Do not take the time admins need to implement Tournaments and other gold-milking activities.

I support this if there is some mechanism where users can help select some of the sub forum mods.

I suppose there would be many advantages and disadvantages. Probably most of the bigger countries have their own national forums, as those tend to have lot more discussions going on with a wide range of sections for different issues. Some small countries, indeed don't have any forums for various reasons. Though as example Denmark has their own forums, where the administrators choose who gets an account on the forums and who doesn't, which generally blocks out the PTO. Such ideas wouldn't work at all on the eRep forums, as users couldn't be restricted access to a section because someone says so. (I guess the moderation of the forums would be a bit of a hassle as well).

http://prntscr.com/1kwx5w Suggested the same thing to admins.
I think that those forums should be given only to countries that ask for it. And the request can be done only by the CP. That would be fair.
Some countries have their own forums, but many don't, and it costs money to have a forum, so why not have one here for free (also the speed and the easy-to-use design are a big plus).
