The Hunger Games.

Other than that, I love Anne Rice's books, especially The Vampire Chronicles and The Mayfair Witches. I also enjoyed reading The Host and the next to read is Metro 2033 as I've heard it's a pretty good one.

I currently reading "A Naked Mind" by Annie Grace.

It's about quitting alcohol and changing our perceptions of drinking, within ourselves and within our culture.

It's really helping me get sober and take control of my drinking problem, finally! I highly recommend to anyone wanting to take control of their lives and free themselves from addiction.

My introduction to Anne Rice wasn't her famous vampire novels, it was "The Witching Hour" which chronicled generations of the Mayfair family and their involvement in the occult. It also featured the supernatural figure, Lasher, who interacted with the family. I was struck by how vivid Rice's descriptions were of New Orleans and other locations. It was truly painting pictures with words - you felt like you were there. I remember staying up all night to finish the book when I was on vacation many years ago. It was definitely a very gripping novel.
