wrong stats dude ... World cup qualifying its a official tournament...so lets check numbers on that competition too.

Messi

PG 13

GS 8

Ronaldo stats on that competition:

PG 6

GS 1

playing against,

Russia

North Ireland

Israel

Azerbaijan

Luxembourg

haha no offense but those teams ... (the only regularl team is Russia).

BTW you guys are talking about Barcelona, lets see what about Real Madrid.

Xabi alonso

Kaka

Di Maria

Ozil

Benzema

Higuain ( on Napoli now)

i think those players are really good, dont you think ?

Which stats are you mentioning? I just wrote down all of Ronaldo's and Messi's stats in all tournaments, including qualifying rounds and Ronaldo STILL surpasses Messi.

EDITED:

Wait so you're quoting only the recent World Cup qualifying rounds? What about the previous tournaments? Still doesn't exclude the fact that Messi hasn't scored a goal in an official tournament (finals) since 2007.

Messi play in argentina in a different position ... he is a MC on Argentina's team ... so as you know in Barcelona he is the main forward... Argentina have Aguero and Higuain on forward position.

Argentina play in a 4-3-1-2 formation. Messi is the "1", he is the second forward, playing behind Aguero and Higuain. He is not a midfielder. This 4-3-1-2 formation can easily turn into a 4-3-3 with Messi being the middle of the front three. The only reason why Messi is always seen in midfield is because he drops back to collect the ball and usually starts the attack from deep.

No offense, but i think you don't get what i talk.

I say: Messi is good ONLY with La Masia teammate. They sleep together, play football together, eat together, they have telepathy from academy

With Argentina, i say he can't do anything good for that team.

Let say, Argentina star is just like Barcelona star.

Striker they have Higuain, Aguero, or Tevez,

Playmaker they have pastore (new one), back then they have Aimar/Riquelme/Veron

Winger they have Di Maria/Gaitan

Defensive midfielder they have Banega/Mascherano.

So the different one with Barcelona?

Let say he going to Napoli, can he help Napoli to win Serie A? Win European League? Like Maradona before?

Cristiano Ronaldo can play well at Manchester United, Real Madrid, or in Portugal. Give him (not good one) partner, and i can say he can play well too.

He's come from Sporting, transferred to Manchester United because his good skill. Messi is from Barcelona at his first career (La Masia Academy)

Now which argument of me is invalid for you?

ok you're right ... the correct position its AMF ... but in Barcelona he plays as the main forward and receive a lot of passes, in Argentina its very different, he assist Higuain and Aguero, and sometimes shoots and receive some passes inside the area, thats the only reason because his % of scores its lower on Argentina.

Sabella (Argentina's coach) put Messi in a little more attacking position, so he can try more shoots in the games, Check Messi's stats with Sabella as a coach, and check formers Argentina's coaches and you will se what i am talking.

my english suck, i know :)

i think if messi can play in any team, because the quality of his shoots and passes are perfect, maybe in another team his average will be lower, but not so much.

cannot see youtube in my office. But 1 thing i want you to know.

There is so much freekicker better than Messi. Nakamura, Pirlo, Juninho, and they don't get the best player in the world. Your argument is invalid.

And hey, he can score without help of anybody!

Why he don't do that in World Cup 2010? Copa America 2011? When he announced the best player of the world (by FIFPro/UEFA).

The fact is: He cannot. Why? He isn't better than Cristiano Ronaldo!

Ronaldo for me, proven in Premier league. Many foreign players come across and struggle in the best league in the world.

Messi won't ever come.. too scared :P

I think Cr7 is a more complete player then Messi, but Messi is probably more important for Barcelona, I think it would be easier for Madrid to replace Ronaldo then for Barcelona to replace Messi.

the real life you said ?

Real life is this:

Honours Barcelona Argentina

Runner-up:

Third place:

Individual Records World Europe Argentina
  • Most goals scored in a year (national team): 12 goals (shared with Gabriel Batistuta)
Spain Barcelona

that is real life, my friend ... voted for every coach, player, journalist, and fan around the world.

CR7 its a great player, but as i said before Mesii > All.
