Only if you view gaming as "intruding" into a male space. Back in the 80s, dudes and girls routinely gamed together. I grew up with my sisters gaming and they gave as good as they got, sooooo...

 

Maybe not everywhere, but here it is tho...I'd think roughly 90% of the people who play this game are male and I bet a substantial number of the women who play hide their gender and don't mention it or pretend to be male.  I mean I've considered doing that myself when I came here, but I decided against it as I knew I would loathe doing that given it would be dishonest.

The point of this thread will never really be fulfilled because really we're the ones intruding into a generally male space; this thread is thus DOA.  It will never be a woman's only space because it's already known that the men here will refuse to acknowledge it.  I mean just look at the first few comments, stereotypes of women echoed by a bunch of male players.  It's really distasteful imo.

Well this is NOT a men's forum, it just happens to be used by mostly men. Just like it's not a straight forum or a forum for those under 45yo. Just because there is a majority doesn't mean that everyone else shouldn't exist.
