Hello guys,

I have a bad habit not able to remember my Safety Code on eRepublik. One of the reason is that I barely use it. I'm pretty sure I put that code on safe place, but now I don't even remember where I put it. It's kinda embarrassing to ask the same question over and over again to admin.

So please give me advice or tips on how to remember my Safety Code :D

Tell me your code and I'll remember it for you.

Best way imo is to use your birthday, house number, bank account pin, last four of your credit card, address, etc for the safety code.  That way you'll recall it quickly.

The safe word should be something you won't naturally say, like "watermelon", so that way your partner knows when enough is enough.

Of course, if they are any good they won't stop no matter how many times you say it. <3

well, birthday date is not good option, since you have this date written on your edit profile (if you set it). Anything related to your house is not good either, couse you can be found on facebook (if you have it) or somewhere else maybe.

Have a code that only you know and is not possible that some1 else gets to it as well (at least those who want to hurt you).

So bank account pin should do.

Put the first 4 numbers of your ssn (for instance), or the last 4.

But it supposed to be number  you can't put word in it right?

Use numbers which you already use somewhere, like your credit card's PIN, SIM card PIN code or your cell phone's safety code.

yeah only numbers, try to use a set you use already. Unfortunately it's not really a good security system. I prefer the setting of a question that only you know the answer to because you created the question.

I find putting numbers creates some problems. For instance, what if your partner asks how many times you want it and it happens to be the same safe word.

Try using some numbers that have some degree of importance to you... a combination of your lucky numbers, or some dates, etc... But remember not to use something too obvious or something that someone who knows you can guess it

What if I told you this is the internet, and that we can't see anything you write outside of this forum.

I advise you sharpie your code in large numbers across your computer screen. That way you don't have to remember anything, and it will hopefully hinder your ability to post.
