POLICIES:
Foreign Affairs:
We believe Australia needs to find its own place in the world, to establish security in our region and to build strong relationships with our neighbors while capitalising on opportunities to improve our nation’s strength and productivity.
Economy:
We believe Government’s role in the economy is to provide guidance and education to workers and business owners; direct intervention in the market should only be contemplated where there is clear evidence of a market failure. We pursue fiscally responsible budgets, balancing the advantages of low taxation against the government’s responsibility to provide security and stability to its citizens.
Military:
A strong military is essential to providing security to our citizens and to pursuing our national interests. We respect the role of non-government military units and cooperate with them in the execution of our military strategy.
Recruitment and Retention:
By far the most critical element of our nation’s long-term future is the recruitment and retention of new citizens. We pursue creative and intelligent means to boost our population and ensure their long-term participation in building our nation.
Other Parties:
We respect all other parties and their views. But should we disagree with them, we will fight against them in a civil and dignified manner.
