What is #Mercenaries?
#Mercenaries is an Erepublik related irc channel on the irc network Rizon for offering and those who are seeking supplies to fight. The channel was founded in 2011 by Jofroi and has become the biggest erepublik related channel with at any moment of the day at least 400 people on the channel. The purpose of this channel is to create a bridge between countries that need fighters to win battles and the fighters of other lands. This is a neutral channel so we won't make any distinction between COT, TWO or any other alliance or any other country.
How does it work?
There are really two ways to go here or you request supplies, or you can sell your damage. The first way, the fighting for supplies, countries, groups etc who offer supplies (and are trustworthy) their channel where you can request supplies are added to the topic. People who come to #mercenaries can check the topic who are offering supplies and join the channel where they want to request supplies. The other way is selling your damage, this is a big harder because a lot of people are offering damage and not a lot of people are buying. Really simple right? So if you just want to fight for supplies and you don't care what country to fight for #mercenaries really is the place to be.
How do i get there?
If you know how irc works and you use a irc client (not a webclient) you can connect to rizon network by connecting to irc.rizon.net and joining #mercenaries. If you do not have an irc client you will have to use one of the web irc clients.

Anything else?
We have a team of about 30 people who ensure that ensures that supplies are added and removed in a timely manner. To ensure the people who use #mercenaries are not scammed we have a Blacklist where people are added who scam people and those people are also banned from the channel. #mercenaries is a neutral place meaning leave your personal preference and biased out the door. Also spamming is not allowed both if you're announcing for instance you are selling your damage there is a 15 minute rule between announcements.
