Good things in V1:
- A well balanced economic system (at least compared to the current one)
- Different currency for each country allowed the economy and politics to be more interesting
- Work skill (or better, a unique skill for all product types instead of 3 different skill)
- Organizations! I really miss my beloved organization! I want back my "Number 2" and "Dr.Male moon base" How can I build an Evil Empire without organization? >:
- The old API system allowed player to made interesting statistics
- Donation logs allowed player to keep control of corruption and robbery
- House, gift and travel ticket added a little more variety to goods market
Good things in V2:
- Daily task (chose a percentage of time for work/training/study)
- Battle system was really fun, I know not all liked that, but at least it wasn't a boring "all you can do is click the same button for hundred/thousand times"...
Good from V3:
- food consumption + energy recover
- Military units
- Wam is not bad after all, but must be limited on the number of companies you can work in
In V1 and V2 there was much more thing to do, keeping the game interesting, in the latest version the unique things you can do is, more or less, just click the same single button for an absurd number of times
