Yes it was. You're just too new to remember the glorious troll forum that was the original OT, a miniature version of /b/, minus the porn.

 

Admins closed it down after we had such magnificent idea's as "draw muhammad day", "admin erotica", "lets bully Captain Sam into killing himself IRL" and "lets watch how Pierric Bross posts up vid's where he eats his own shit between a sandwich".

 

 

Needles to say that this was one of the greatest forum on the interwebz back in the days.

That forum was pretty legendary. It was defacto there (and also on IRC and /b/ and /v/) that the /v/akistani empire was founded, the only real empire this game has ever had.

 

 

It was pretty epic and completely lawless. The admins made some attempts to moderate it but soon abandoned all hope. I believe it was only after we enraged half of the muslim population by posting pictures of Mohammad fucking a goat and after we posted so many anti-Chinese party propaganda (in an attempt to get erepublik blocked by the great Chinese firewall) that the admins shut it down.
