Hello everybody,

The administrators of this game sustain that this game it is a simulator of real life. I'm agree with this, even though sometime isn't so. 

We know very well where they make mistakes. 

One of those mistakes it is: the political parties.

In this moment the system is based on quantity and not quality. It is normal to have limits but, in my opinion, those limits are, a little, discriminatory. Today, we can see in top five, political parties with hundreds members and without real political activity. "The small" political parties, with forty or sixty members and political activity, are not have any chance to participate for congress elections. This sistem promote the "clones ... babyboom". Why the administrators of this game do not improve this sistem wich could permit  to the small political parties, with real political activity, to participate to elections????

I think that the limit of 50 members it is enough.

it's weird to see parties with 50 members in Congress, but fot what you want it's necessary to have regional elections where you vote a candidate not a party

This is not a bad suggestion. Perhaps a minimum % of the total population (e.g. 2-3%) or of the number of population in political parties (e.g. 5%) as the majority of players are not members of political parties .  However there are lot of changes in respect of parties and elections that need to be changed:

 

1) The results of the elections should be visible only after the elections - not during the elections. Its unrealistic

2) Political party leaders should have the option to send a message to all party members - and there should be a list of the applications and approvals (just like with citizenship)

3) In order to enter a political party you should need the approval by the Party president and/or one of the other officials (VP etc). In this way you avoid any PTO

4) Restrictions as to who are allowed to vote should exist - as it is now, inactive accounts get active only to vote. There should be some restrictions. 

5) Political parties should be able to have a treasury and newspaper.

i think maybe the level (experience points) of each member have to count.

like this to enter a TOP 5 it will ONLY count the members that at least are level 27.   the members below that level can be in the party and all like now BUT they don't count in the moment of get the top 5 parties for congress and cp elections

Fully agree on points 1, 2, 4

 

On point 3: Instead of letting the party-president approve of this directly. Let him set the requirements like it is currently done in Military Units without the "invite only" option(that option could be a point of abuse). Possible requirements that could be set are; Military ranking, XP-level, strength, amount of time being a citizen,...etc.

 

On point 5: No, as this would make political parties more like the government and almost make it possible for a single party to act as an unofficial government against the wishes of anyone who disagree.

I do like the idea of giving parties their own newspaper, it would be directly linked to the party-page itself.

If the party cease to exists then the articles in that newspaper will be added to the newspaper of the last party-president before it's end.
