I have seen that you can trade via donation all kind of stuff (gold, cc, weapons, food...), but you cannot trade raw materials!
Is this a game issue that should be solved? Or is it a way to protect the economy?
Can somebody explain to me why doesn´t eRepublik support the donation of raw materials?

You can't use raw materials on the battlefield.

You can't eat raw materials.

I can fire weapons on the battlefield.

I can eat food.

Raw materials are directly used for production and trade.

You can always make an arrangement with the person you wish to donate to.

Tell them to purchase a specific order(at extreme low price), the person buys that order and you refund the money he spended on that purchase.

(Edit: this suggestion is a little less advisable then the other post of me just below)

What if other buys the order before your buyer?

I don't know.

I should have mentioned that i never did this myself.

The tip/idea i gave was something i picked up during an IRC conversation some time ago.

Another way is: If you wish to donate RW you can always place an offer at a very high price and give the person you wish to donate to the needed currency to purchase the offer you placed.

This last alternative seems to be safer then my first one because it is far less likely that someone would purchase a very expensive offer over the cheap ones in the beginning of the list.

Just tried it, another issue just popped up, what if the user is from another country?
They can´t buy items from your own market unless they travel around the world to get it (20cc per space you move to sell a 0.05cc item make this offer really really bad)

So you have to search for a buyer from your country

This is perfect system, its part of fun to find a buyer.

donating raw materials should be an option imao. More then that, you should be able to set more then 2 decimal digits of price. The difference between 0,03 and 0,04 per WRM is huge, why not allow us to set 0,037 for example?

Because that would destroy trading also donating raws could be exploited

Thanks no

you can set limitations that wouldn't allow to exploit: set price (+-20% of the market price) and quantity limits

don't see here any problems. How can you exploit donating raw materials? And markets won't be destroyed since this is still the most conviniet way to trade - fast and reliable. You can donate goods but markets still exist and they are totally ok

I'd not say it's a problem, I'd consider this as an additional convenience option, why not adding it?

I dont think it could be a problem. The only way you can put prices with three decimals is via donation! 1000 raws at .045 could be sold via donation to 45cc, it would be a pretty cool deal, I dont see how it would affect economy.
