Strength Based Divisions

So far today I have done 2.5 million damage. The top players in my country have done over 1 Billion damage. I am division 4.

 

The only way I will get battle hero medal is if everyone else in division 4 stops playing.

YE RIGHT! U CAN EASILY GET A BH WITH 20-30 KK in obscure RWs and Battles. 

 

Ofc in some battles which are important some players do even 200-300 kk dmg per round but that is because they consider that battle important and in most cases they use real money to fund the dmg.

Agreed, the xp based diviosions are currently the only one thing I'd change in eRepublik. It's unbalanced and it isn't fair.

Rank based divisions makes more sense. It tracks military activity only instead of all the other modules too.

XP based divisions are really not perfect, strength based divisions would make much more sence, but you'll have to put some limitations, for example disallowing a player not to level up strength at all when he/she is about to reach a threshold for the next division. For example invoke free training automatically if player logs in and performs some actions

1) Division 4 should be split into 3-4 divisions. It is overcrowded there.

 

2) I agree that xp divisions are not correct. The divisions relate to battles - so it should have to do with the damage a person can do (basic damage).  Each person to compete with similar influence/damage person.  

 

3) Alternatively, strength based divisions would be better than xp (even though I prefer the 'damage/influence' criterio as the most fair).

(Sorry wasn't reading the whole topic but I made my own topic some time ago about str based divisions and I want to put here my suggestions)

- Divisions should be strength based just because there are a lot of people with low strength and high rank just because they're playing for a looong time

- Players should be given a small +% of their strength after making some hits (it's normal that you get stronger during fights, not only during training). It'd solve the problem of twinks staying in one division for the whole time.

- Daily Tasks should be improved, they're totally inefficient if you aren't division 4 player

- We can't say "And what about people who fit to the present situation" because we won't be able to change anything then - no economy fixed because someone got used to this module, no military fixed because someone got used to this module, etc. etc.
