Couldn't connect cuz the server isn't running the latest version. Is it possible to update it or does it have to be an older version to run those mods?

Had to restart the world so upgraded the nuclear reactor.
52K RF per tick.
Running a monster ender quarry devouring a chunk every 15 minutes.

Obviously the server did not like FTB.
Had to reload with vanilla and will add Forge and Optifine.
So server is up just with current pack.
