This is a very simple idea.  Basically we will take eSouth Africa and make it into eAfrica with seperate african countries as regions up to arab based countries which i suggest we add as eArabia.

The problem with eSouth Africa is it went down such a path with PTO's me as a South African do not want to be associated with the eCountry as it doesnt reflect my culture or viewpoints so to increase numbers in a bigger country we make it onto eAfrica.  This will appeal to many americans with a african heritage and also many other players with a african heritage.

Also probably in other countries you would get pockets of internet users mostly german, french, english ex patriots who would also want to join a bit closer to their own home .

I think instead of adding artificial countries, real ones should be added. I don't understand why they added Singapore (5M people) or North Korea (no internet access) and didn't add, for example, Nigeria (174M people).

Nice example, of which only a small fraction has decent access to internet.

Then where are they.

There are plenty of players out there who has shown they don't need their country in-game to actually play this game.

And they come from anywhere.

If there hadn't been Poland when I registered, I'd have said "what a crappy game, I'm not gonna play it". I'm sure lots of potential players from excluded countries say the same.

Adding more countries would generate new baby booms that would stop the sad trend of players leaving eRepublik.

naw you must be wrong in nigeria they have the largest b movie video market in the world.  thats movies made my nigerian producers on non existent budgets using video cameras and copied onto video cassettes.  I am pretty certain that their mobile internet use would be equal to or better than south africa so there would be a lot of africans using the internet.  erepublik labs can check this out on their market research.

why for example is india so small?  there is cities in india with populations of 50 million people.

Come on 5 million people is not small amount of people and most eNorth Korean citizens are not really from North Korea.
