The map with current distribution of resources was introduced more than 2 or 3 years ago.

 

I believe it's high time resources were redistributed in order for the game to gain more dynamics. We all know that Poland will invade Germany, France and Netherlands, that Serbia will attack Italy, that China will take those 3 Pakistani regions etc. All the resource routes and wars they imply are well known, just like strategies that countries tend to use. 

 

That is why I would like to see new distribution of resources. That way the game would open new possibilities for wars and alliances. We could experience new campaigns and tactics, especially with new countries admins have announced they are going to add.

You're right, it wouldn't change the mechanics of the game, but it would have an impact on the game in terms of relations among the countries, alliances and choice of enemies and friends. I see redistribution as the simplest way to make eRepublik dynamic again without coding new features.

Firstly, fix the borders. There are regions that are practically not connected in any way and still attacks can be commenced between them.

egov map is better... the old map ingame is buggy, the new one is wrong, unconfortable to use, and buggy XD

That's 3 maps already available.

Anyway, i think the focus is mostly on the resources in the current regions and the idea of changing those resources(not to new resources, but move them to other regions).

It's not about Serbia, but bringing more fun and dynamics to the game. Distribution of resources dictates which countries will confront for regions, and all the confrontations are now known and experienced multiple times during past few years. There is nothing interesting in Serbia conquering her usual resource route for the 1000th time... It has become predictable and boring. Why not redistribute resources and open chances for new resource routes and wars? We could see countries changing their relations to adapt to new map. It could be fun and interesting. No one likes boring and predictable games. : )

So what, how would this new resource distribution would work?

Every month resources place change/ year/only once?

Of course only once not an option,since those who get the bad side of change will want another to get better! And admins couldnt really refuse since they already done once,it would be a never ending anger coming from players!

 

Personally I would be very upset and even considering quiting from the game.

Second option would be never fight again because whats the point when admins change resources randomly!I would just take CS from country with highest bonus and when admins change resources I would change CS too!

 

So changing resource map a very bad idea!

Negative Effects:

-less strategy,it would be all luck!

-old hardcore players angry,lot of player quit!

-old top countrys which got worse situation,even more angry player!

 

Positive:

-Casual players happy,more luck based gameplay!

True old servers all graveyard because new players only join to new one,too bad for those who played that shitty clone!

Needless to say,new server for erepublik would mean the end of erepublik in short time!

For me quit an instant,never looking back!
