Hi,

 

years ago, Rocket Factories were useful. A rocket of 1kk Damage + FF was an instant win of a BH in D4.

 

Now, due to damage inflation caused by more health, more free energy bars, more free BH-Bombs, free damage boosters, more strength per day....

Rockets are useless and too expensive to be useful - even at this low Q1-Q6-Weapon-prices these days.

Also no one needs the 5min Damage booster, because there are enough free 2h, 8h, 24h damage boosters for free.

 

Because of this, Q1-Q6 Weapon Factories are de facto useless - you have to sell your weapons below the raw material prices!?

 

This is awful for those who have invested in these but also for Plato.

Because these pretty cheap and available companies are so useles, no one spends gold on them and less gold has to be bought with real money.

 

How to solve that?

 

 

 

Rockets:

 

Increase the damage.

I don't know about the usual damage in D1-3, so I can only suggest new Q4&Q5 Rockets:

 

Q4: 18.000.000 Damage

Q5: 25.000.000 Damage

at least.

 

 

Sounds very much?

 

Well, nowadays you need ~50kk damage for a BH.

When Rocket Factories were implemented, only like 4kk Damage were enough for a BH.

Also, a BH is 5 gold worth (normally). ATM a Q5 Rocket costs 509,6 CC (eUS market), which is 2,55 Gold.

So, even at those low prices and high suggested damage per Rocket, it's hard to earn money by using rockets (in D4).

Apart from this, rockets were meant to be mass destruction weapons, being able to have an influence on the battle,

but with this low relative damage nowadays they're more like firecrackers....

 

 

Damage Boosters:

 

Also damage boosters can be built by the rocket factory.

Since there are more long-live damage boosters for free every week, you don't need the 5min boosters out of the factory.

So I suggest:

 

75% Damage Boosters for 20min

 

It's more bonus % of damage than the free boosters, so they are becoming useful.

However it's less then the rare 100% damage boosters, so they don't violate their integrity.

Also they have to be lasting longer as the current ones, because you have more health nowadays,

so you need more time to use all your health and also some EBs on a battle.

Why the hell you write kilo kilo instead of mega? And if they increase damage of rockets that is only temporary solution. They need to make rocket damage as function of strenght (influence).

I like the original idea, but indeed its only temporarly.

I like this suggestion more where rocket damage is based on either influence or strenght, i would prefer influence though since that would be another stimulation for players to go into a higher division and discourage the d1 2 strenght builders a bit more...

Best thing in my opinion would be this formula d = c + nx where d is rocket damage, c is some base damage (so that players with low strenght have some rocket damage despite that), n is positive number and x is some kind of influence (q7 hit for example). The main problem would be to choose reasonable n values.

+1   rockets are useless.
that makes Q1-Q2-Q3-Q4-Q5 weapons useless, that make the economy doesn't work

another solution for Rockets, which would be permanent would be:

 

Q1: 50

Q2: 60

Q3. 70

Q4: 80

Q5.100

 

*times the damage of a Q7-hit per Rocket.

rockets should move the battle 1%   and can only be used the first hour of the battle.  

 

 

basing rockets on strength.  is only good for those that have high strength.  and those who have high strength already are getting the BH medals so they do not need to do more damage.    

 

 

but i do agree that when they adjusted the divisions they also should have adjusted the rocket damage accordingly.

the booster should be 100% 5minute booster made in the rocket factory.

Rockets should be stackable. This would increase the demand for wrm and low quality weapons. Maybe the damage needs and update too, but ability to stack them would be nice. Build one a day, or maybe even two, and stack them to get that BH. Or to make a difference in a "significant" battle.

no thats way to much you will only inflate them even more idk maybe not and it can't be dependent on strength either because rockets are the only way a smaller player can have an advantage dont make strength worth so much

I don't see why we should not have the possibility to stack them.
When you win one, you can. Why not when build one?

I bet the eRepublik staff laughs at this section while they are counting the money you people give them. My only regret is not being shifty enough to scam people out of real money by giving them fake money.

Really? discussions about the shitty damage of a rocket?

 

Better idea is to allow the people to build UNLIMITED rockets. Period.
