The missions are causing spam. The mission completion for friend requests can be exploited to completion by de friending someone.

Or did I miss the 'clarification' that de friending your list of friends is an acceptable way of completing the mission?

Furthermore, these request will take weeks to subside even after you complete the mission. The spam wont stop. If I'm trying to play erepublik and be protected by the citizen laws of this game then I should not be subjected to poorly created missions. Whoever was in the office with the creative or marketing boss seriously must not play his own game he works for because he would see how disparaging things are and instead of making more stupid missions hire a creative consultant who has experience in marketing to a browser game. I'm sure they exist.

Imo, 100 friends mission should be completed if one already has 100 or more friends. Or there should be a sort of expanded friends feed (page) in the 1st place. On such page could be either pre-set or definable categories, such as that achievements of friends would have separate place and gfs likewise. And if with feed comments button/s were added by which the poster could categorize a post themselves, that could be cool too, such as button for "advertisement" (looking to buy-sell etc.), and button for political campaign. Such imo simple things could free up the "main friends feed".
And/or similarly, if there were at least an option to disable especially gf notifications in the friends feed, that would be nice.

9 Gold to buy out of the 100 friends mission seems a fair price for those who prefer a rather exclusive and/or RL friend list, and do the missions. Tho, I agree that the spam resulting from that mission may be annoying to many, which could be partially solved if the alerts page had an (optional) separate section for friends requests. Alternativly, simply option do deny friends requests which don't come with a message.

Why dont I have these faggy missions??? I mean I know I'm über cool and these missions are ultra mega lame but still I'm not happy because if other lamers can have them why cant I? Yea and missions are ultra stupid if I forgot to mention, I'm also mega cool and awesome, and rewards are so pathetic. I hate stupid articles and spam. Gj Pluto, or whetever genius made this crap (new missions) in his sick head, ty.

P.S. ... for the post below: "If you are just going to complain, quit and play another game." ... ... I hope that you can do something about this here and in you real life, because at the end ... you will be beaten, divorced, with no money, no job, etc. I din't like quiters ... it is too easy ... So ... don;t tell me what to do ... I have been through a lots of things in this game ... so don't teach me ... please!

 

The thing is that this is a game and not real life... I know its hard for some people to realise though.

You are absolutely right. The fact of the matter is that this is a game and it is supposed to be fun. There are some that don't find it fun to have to click through spam friend requests. Could they ignore it? Sure, but not if they are in congress they have to wade through it. For me.. I don't care. I'm ignoring the missions all together. But I can see why some are complaining. It is rather annoying to have to wade through the spam to get to my congress links. *Shrug* Not everyone complains for the sake of complaining... occasionally people complain because something is truly stupid and in the context of this game it is obviously a way to get us to spend gold to get rid of the missions.

Suggestion for the next amazing mission:

 

1. Create newspaper (if you didn't have one) ... Gold to complete 657.

2. Write 200 articles per day for the next 9 days ... Gold to complete 1001.

3. Reply at least with one post in another 350 articles ... per day in the next 17 days. Gold to complete 532,23.

 

Admins ... can I work for you ... to create mindless missions ... For free of course!

Not really a game without perma-death. Respectivly, not really as is about character sheet development (which is enjoyable to many in mostly RPGs), as that is here sort of as a box stop at a F1 track.

Does anyone know why only some players got the missions and others not ? Is there a plan to be introduced to all the players ?
