Of course you work and train to get those medals and money from working, but how else? At my rank/level, I'd spend more money trying to get true patriot medals than I'd make back in gold, and I'm not strong/rich enough to get battle heroes and commendations and stuff.

I had a Q1 weapons company until I realized that I was losing money, since the supplies cost more than what I produced, so I was losing time, money, AND energy. I did the math, and Q7 isn't even different either. You do make SOME money, but you would not even make that money back from a Q7 weapons company in your IRL lifetime.

So how do you do it? Currently I have 46 NLG (Netherlands currency) and 5 gold, so I'm broke. Once we get another war, I saved up some small bombs so I'll get another true patriot, so I'll have 10 gold, but that's still nothing.

i know in eusa there are military units that give food and weps to players who ask.

if you post a shout in your feeds i need "1000 energy" i think someone would be more than happy to give it to you,

so if you can get food and weps for free there is no reason to build factories,  if there is no reason to build factories then no reason to get gold.

but your question is "how do you make gold"

well i have job irl that gives me irl USD, i use the irl usd to buy virtual gold from erepublik.  so i do not need to worry about return rates and such.

with that gold i bought the 35 gold raw places, enough to get all the raws needed for a q7 wep factory full employees.  so i now make most my income from waming.

Not sure if they have that here in the Netherlands, and I don't want to move to the USA atm. I have a job IRL too, but bills to pay, and not enough left over to warrant buying eRep gold.

Any other ways outside of using IRL money? Or is medals really my only option?

Also, unrelated, but what would be a good way to maximize damage in battles? I have almost 1000 strength, yet I rarely do any significant amount of damage. Would a rockets factory be good for that? Of course I'd lose money, but it'd be worth it for the true patriot medals and the decorations.

And I want gold for numerous reasons...food, making a political party, starting resistance wars, donating to the country, etc.

If you have the time to fight daily (preferably several times daily), you can earn gold through Freedom Fighter medals. FF medals just need kills, not damage, so anyone can get it.

Some FF medals are harder to get, but on average, FF medals usually gives you surplus income, if you are careful with your cost. Weapon and ticket cost can be minimised using some tricks.

How do I know which resistance wars are probably going to win? Also, is it wars or BATTLES that need to be won? I've been away for a couple of years, so not sure how the wars work anymore.

Don't buy it. Currently a 450 Gold Pack is marked at 125.90 USD. But if you go in to make a transaction it will cost you 132.63 USD. This isn't the first time they had false advertisement problems.

That's the Paypal charge, then. Paypal isn't "free". If I'm not mistaken, you pay a certain percentage to them.

Go to big countries. I camp in Peru, Chile, Serbia. Sometimes they don't have RWs, but sometimes they have 3-4.

Weekly Challenges sometimes give out Moving Tickets. I don't use them for anything EXCEPT for moving to countries with 2+ RWs going on with regions that they're both going to lose.

Also, save up the 2-hour, 8-hour, and 24-hour rocket boosters. They make kills easier to make. 2 hits instead of 3, etc.

Look at my character, It's not very strong, because it took me forever to get enough gold to upgrade training centres. I don't buy gold either. I used to have a billion raw companies that takes 350+ days to turn a profit (when they had the rare -30% discount for raw companies). It's been like 3 years so I've been making small profits. That, and in addition to the 100+ FF medals. I have finally use the profits to make a Q7 weapons factory and a Q3 house factory. I now have enough gold saved up to upgrade it when new upgrades come out.

And that's without ever buying gold.

Awesome, thanks for the tips!

But any idea how to know which RWs will be successful? I'm not really sure how the scoring system works, so I'd just like some tips on how to prematurely figure out which RWs I should fight in for medals.

It's the one medal I actually want.

But would you say that training ground upgrades are a good investment? I'm going to have 20 gold in a couple of days, and I think I may use it to upgrade training grounds. I'd get strength medals quicker, I'd rank up quicker, I'd do more damage, it'd help in RWs, etc.

Or are there other good investments that I should save up for?

Only upgrade the 1st and 2nd training grounds. But wait until they go on sale, where there's a -45% discount. Also, upgrade the 1st one first.

If the 1st one is level 1:

- it costs you nothing

- you get 5 strength per day

- it will take you 50 days to get a Super Soldier medal (5 gold)

If the 1st one is level 4:

- it costs you nothing

- you get 20 strength per day

- it will take you 12.5 days to get a Super Soldier medal (5 gold)

If both the 1st and 2nd ones are level 4:

- it costs you 0.19 gold

- you get 30 strength per day

- it takes 8.33 days to get a Super Soldier medal (5 gold)

- you make a profit of 3.42 gold

The 3rd and 4th ones aren't worth upgrading until you get very rich. I'm also not including the daily rewards where you get extra strength or the weekly challenges where you get extra strength as well. So with those added, you get +5 gold quicker.

I would recommend you saving your gold any time you get some.

And for Freedom Fighter medals, I look at the war list for 2-3 RWs going on in the same country. If the RWs are winning by 30 points (like 40-10), I usually move over there, use a booster, and get some kills. For hard kills (where the opponent has a Q7 weapon), I recommend you using a bazooka.

Thanks! That was actually really helpful. Any idea when the next training ground sale will be? Doing some quick simple math, it seems as though, both fully-upgraded, using both the first and second training grounds would yield more profit than just the first.

Though, it'd also take a while to get enough gold to upgrade both, so I'll focus on my first training ground first. I feel as though its a lot easier than it looks to get gold as I get stronger, as, the better my strength and the better my training grounds, the quicker I'll make gold.
