NICE :D

although it is gonna be used by a lot of trolls(not always such a good thing).

So adding a license-thing on top of the gold price would make it less attractive(in theory).

Anyway, i like it a lot(not that i would go on a rampage publishing in many different countries).

For more info, look at my wikipage

you can improve the media module if you will request a fee to publish any article and players must pay for reading the hole article(an intro of 5 lines to be free to read, but to read the hole article you have to pay a small amount of cc)

Why do you always directly apply changes rather than debate with the players and get some feedback before the releases? This policy you have is awful and leads to huge mistakes.

Just the opposite: good articles should get gold, not spend it.
Too bad you admins do not understand your own game...

Parts of the fee going to the country where the article is published in is a good idea - it's either gold for trolling, or gold from expats which profit from higher bonuses abroad.

However I agree with Freiheitskaempfer that a license-system would have been better.

I can see a business opportunity here - I would publish a players article in Australia for a fee

much cheaper than 2 - 15 gold \o/

Have you considered that with such high prices (and the rest of the conditions) people and groups that have money will be able to post articles while the rest will be able to publish only in their country.

Big parties, alliances and MUs have lot of power in the game already (they also lots of gold). Therefore, they can freely make their propaganda. I believe that you have to reconsider (and also take into account the fact that other might offer "re-publish" services with lower prices). You should find a fair solution for everyone.

Also, writing articles and publishing them should be a matter of just having gold. (Quality, subscribers etc should count)

Where is the edit button for my articles I have written in the past, Plato?  I actually used my past articles to properly code stuff out because erepublik is finicky like that.  This way I ensured I don't get CSRF attacked when I publish for the first time in my newspaper.

It's gone like the option to delete older articles.

I'm sure we will get a response explaining the various reasons for this and the benefit for us as players pretty quickly.

I like the idea.

I like that the idea is similar to this one, for me means someone reads the suggestion box ;)

https://forum.erepub...or-any-country/

I'm totally agree with below player comment:

It should be better if we could spend some cc instead of gold.
10 to 20 cc seem a more reasonable price. It's not like could make a profit with articles.

2 gold for each article is so expensive, and press module is not actually full of articles. A fee is ok, in currency maybe better, but in my opinion must be affordable by all players included new players.

Also reducing price will avoid "black market" of publishing articles or similars.

Anyways is a great upgrade of the game.

Maybe you can add "Publish in Ally countries" so you can make more usefull the Alliances module as well. and publish in "All the World" and the posibility to select differents countries simoultaniesly.

I would love for my article to be published globally, but to this idea - no. I wouldn't waste 2 gold just to get "permission" for my work to be published.

To the admins - thinking of making money from every single facet of the game is just bad. This feature has the potential of removing the barriers between countries and improving communication and you have cut the flesh from it by demanding a high fee - in GOLD. Something like 50 cc would have been more acceptable.
