To maintain stability in the New World, the servers occasionally need a small downtime. This downtime is required today so that the tireless group of Headless Chickens can have peace for their maintenance work.
Unfortunately the start of the maintenance is partly out of our hands, and we can’t specify the exact time. We’re writing this post to let you know that we might face some downtime today, and it could last from 5 minutes up to a few hours. During this time the game can’t be accessed, but the Wiki can be used normally and the Forum can be browsed.
As a part of this process, we’re disabling the option to upload avatars. We’ll share more information about when it’ll be re-enabled later.
To stay updated, make sure to keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook accounts! We’ll try to give as much information as possible on how the maintenance is going, and maybe even share some behind the scenes pictures from the office!
