Whenever I try to work overtime I get the message

"You have reached your daily overtime limit. Try again tomorrow."

I haven't worked overtime today so can anyone tell me what's going on here?

Because your employer lowered the "Maximum daily payment per employee" and you can't work overtime.

There should be a clear message saying "you cannot work today anymore due to the daily salary limit [AMOUNT] set by your employer" or there could be some info on that limit available directly on the work page. I've seen many people asking the same question.

Thanks for your suggestion, we will try to change it.

Every employer can set that limit, can be 0 for unlimited overtime works, or can be a specific amount.

Hi there,

I'm afraid there is no way to find whether the employer has a limit of the overtimes set. The only way would be applying for a job and basically trying to work overtime.
