First of all I would like to say I am a new player and my english is far from perfect.

 

Yesterday our Government found out an ex-minister or something like that stole most of our money, without the participation of our Presidente.

 

Looking at past cases like that I found out the administrators wont give the country their money back when the person responsible had the password given by their own Government.

 

Well, even in real life where people go to jail some crimes like this still happen. So you could say that in a game like this a lot of people would be tempted to do the same.

 

It is not correct to say that the President or their ministers are someone people trust and than blame them for their mistakes. We choose those we think are more capable for the job, but laws must exist to punish and recover the money in case these people dont follow the rules.

 

So if the money is transfered by the games tools, there is no reason not to use it to recover it. In real life, even other countries help to recover stolen money, sending it back to their Government.

This is a very important topic.

 

Admin has gotten away with murder by supporting (YES SUPPORTING) theives.

 

This is another reason the game is dying.  Admin has no sense of fairness or justice.

 

THERE ARE 2 CRIMINALS INVOLVED IN THESE THEFTS.... THE PERP AND ADMIN.  BOTH ARE EQUALLY GUILTY.

There should be a rule "Player who is a congress member or a CP can not accept donations from government orgs" thats for starters. But the reason why admins won't give the money back is because a person can steal the money, spend it on tanks and fire like crazy, which means money is now redistributed to other players who have sold the tanks. You can't take that away from them and the Q7 can be spent in a battle. So, you could ask for admins to refund the money, and refund the tanks back although they are gone at this point, but what about DMG that is done in a battle? You can't bring that back. So no matter what you do you can't fix everything.

 

On the other side, I think there should be more regulations  in order to make this difficult. One thing could be that you have to have some companies, that would be set as insurance, if you don't return the money they are automatically dissolved and money is transfered back to the person/org/government that you "stole" or borrowed from.

 

I suggest we introduce government-individuals-MU contracts of all sorts and kinds. This would be interesting I believe.

Once group of people stole 1000 gold from eBelarussian treasury. And still we are waiting for compensation.

Those, who steals a lot are not being punished, but those who's not paying money to Plato getting banned pretty fast.

No one will give you that money back. I know it seems easy but trust me it is not. At least one part of that money was spent. Why would someone take the money and just keep it there and not use it? Another thing, they would have to investigate too many things. Can anyone prove that people involved didn't make a deal with this guy, promising him something like "tanking for money" or something like that, on Rizon for example? Unless the guy says "I sole it" it is very hard to prove what really happened and why. Partially I have to agree with this policy "you chose this guy" because to give someone power over treasury is a matter of trust.

 

But having said that I think you are right, these things should be addressed. I propose, as I said, in order for someone to send him self some money from any org, few people should approve. Or, even better, it does not need to be approved but the person receiving the money has to "sign the contract" where he would guaranty repayment with his assets, like companies which would be automatically dissolved if he fails to return the money in a given time. Until his debt is repaid

 

There is no perfect system. Have that in mind. You can only make it a bit better.

Well, I completly disagree. If a part of the money was spent, they should give us back the part that was not.

And they are the ones with the tools to find out where the money was spent. This way they can help find out if someone else recieved part of it and also punish them even if the rest of the money is gone in the market.

If you make the game (erepublik) and profit from it you shouldn´t be able to say it is difficult to help make it fair. You should do everything in your power to do it.

 

If the game admins are responsible for the way money circulates, they should be responsible to try to get it back, like any financial institution in the world. If the money was spent, they should give all the information about it (included other possible transfers).

 

About your idea, the admins won´t even give us the money that is still there, do you think they would give us power over someone's else company? It wouldn´t make a difference.

 

I agree that there is no perfect system but it would be much better if they actually see this things as a serious matter and do everything they can to help.

As just so everyone knows, the admins dont give a damn, this game is a joke.  Back in the day when they had contracts, they may have done something, but now this stuff happens all the time, the admins dont care.  They know this game is going down hill, they are losing players, not getting new ones, they made their money, invested it someplace else probably, and this game is just going to go through a long death.  I cant tell you how many times I have addressed admins about issues, and they either ignore them or delete my topics/articles.

As just so everyone knows, the admins dont give a damn, this game is a joke.  Back in the day when they had contracts, they may have done something, but now this stuff happens all the time, the admins dont care.  They know this game is going down hill, they are losing players, not getting new ones, they made their money, invested it someplace else probably, and this game is just going to go through a long death.  I cant tell you how many times I have addressed admins about issues, and they either ignore them or delete my topics/articles.

A game that does not prosecute is an administration  of criminals themselves

I published in the country the theif fled to.

The response was overwhelming.

 

a. almost all citizens gave us back whatever the theif gifted them
