I doubt anyone is violating your human rights by questioning why Bulgarians are claiming to be Greeks

Were Macedonians ever Greeks? Next you will be saying Thracians & Dacians were

Macedonia was a Hellenic region once. That is where Alexander the Great comes from. I think during the Bulgarian Empire, the Bulgarians took it over and re-settled it.

Also Alexander and Philips capital city has been discovered in Thessolonikli and Philips tomb was discovered in Vergina. Both locations are well inside modern Greece. The inscriptions found were in Classical Greek as was the architecture and items found inside. While in the period there was no "Greece" the various Hellenic city states shared a common linguistic family as well as similar architecture. The country currently claiming the name of Macedon is several hundred kilometers away from either location and it's language is Slavic in origin.
In conclusion we can determine that such nonsensical claims are baseless and preposterous.

Got me interested enough to read up on Bulgarian history - Bulgaria & Byzantium had a rather complex history & at one time or another most of Greece was part of the Bulgarian empire - maybe most of Greece was resettled by Slavs
Is it possible that Macedonians are the closest to the Greeks of ancient times
Just sayin
