I have set up a Sand Mine to produce House Raw Materials, and I am unable to 'Work As Manager'. Is this meant to be the case, or is something wrong? Can anyone help?

1) The new industry will not allow you to work as manager. The only way to build Houses will be by using work tickets generated by your employees. The same applies to the raw material companies for the new industry.
As you can see, raws or companies. You will have to hire workers to make it... work.

Actually quite a good idea to have that, as 'Work as Manager' does rather dilute the jobs market.
