How many hours a week do you expect a moderator to be online? Point being, I believe I could be a decent moderator, but I can't promise amazing activity.

Since I'm from USA and only speak English, should I even bother applying?

There isn't a set number of hours we expect one to be online, it usually depends on individual basis but in some cases +20 minutes a day can be enough. Even though you may speak just one language, you do have the timezone as a bonus, so it's always worth to apply :)

  • Good sense of humor – Because we are not robots and having fun is one of the things we do on our (SECRET) chat room. We are looking for users with personality, flare and generally a good sense of humor but with the apt ability to distinguish when it is time to be serious.

Basic requirements:

(...)

  • Be friendly and helpful and try to answer any questions to the best of your ability. Make the Support Center a warm and welcoming place.

     GOOD JOKE

Please, Gucio, cut it out! People's leaving because you never listen the users. And now, the thing we need the less is to "zombie" more citizens with the MOD recruitment.

I'm sorry, I have difficulties reading your latest post about available positions for eRepublik Moderators.

I see you are looking for Albanians, Finnish, Romanians and Republic of Macedonia (FYROM)-ians ?

I think you can do smarter than this, than intentionally using country's name as a nationality.

Macedonia's  descriptions for language and nationality are MACEDONIAN ( http://prntscr.com/668d9o ), not Republic of Macedonia (FYROM). There is no such nationality.

Since you are referring to the other countries by nationality, it would be only fair that you treat us the same.

man they made you CP? pfffff your iq must be in the negative scale...

here is one for you http://prntscr.com/6f0ph0

cheers

Sorry for the delay. There isn't a specific time scale, but the quicker the better. Once we manage to find a candidate for the specific country, the recruitment for that country is usually closed.

Unfortunately I haven't got any specific numbers I can share. It usually depends on the country and the language, ie there is usually more application from Spanish speaking citizens rather than Polish speaking citizens, since there is more countries where Spanish is spoken.

Maybe because a volunteer wants to contribute something to the stuff he/she is interested in!
Personal gain is the last thing on a volunteers mind.

My friend volunteerism is not contributing for someone else's material benefit. And the "volunteers" he/she should be aware that this right here is nothing but Personal gain....so this is not an offer for Volunteers its an offer for a job with no paycheck.

  • Note that you will receive an answer only if your application was accepted. If you don't get selected to be the next Moderator to represent your native language, your application will still be kept in our database and will be considered the next time we recruit.

At this point you have my application so I won't send it again. Most likely I'm not okay for this position.
