whats the problem you should just add up some rules and it will work fine.

 

for exmple if your over 2 months old you cant be expled out of your country 7 days befour any type of elections. that way you will always will have your CZ returned befour the elections end and have your vote.

 

also make some rules like congress members\president\party leaders cant be expelled.

 

it would limit the original idea a bit but will stop exploits so it could be a good tool vsPTOs.

Looks good on paper, but would be terrible in practice. The potential for abuse is simply massive.

As people have stated, it could be used as a tool of party politics or it could keep PTO-ers in power indefinitely.

its a good idea but if most congress members belong to one party then they would use it to eliminate political opponents...

It is good idea, but it is a bit hard and slow system. I agree that there should be implemented some new function like minister of immigration that can withdraw the CS of players. The minister can only be appointed by CP, but can be dismissed by CP and 66% of congressman votes.

This power should be only up to admins. As said previously, PTO could kick real citizens if they take 66% of congress.

 

Admins would remove their CS to their birth CS, or depending on their IP.

A good idea, but not like proposed! It could be used to expel not only TOvers, but political rivals!

Besides, if congress vote is needed, just to expel ONE player it would take a whole day, and usually TOvers are large groups, so it would be impracticable in the proposed form.

We need this part of the game where we have to fight a PTO attack. It gives you something to do, to play...even though sometimes can be a real pain in the..stomac

The PTO is other "fun" play mode in the game. So Plato has no interest in remove it.

 

The only idea I have about this topic is to create "categorized" citizenships, like the forum privileges (e.g. in the forum you can/can't post, can/can't open topics, etc. In this case, a citizen can/can't vote, can/can't be PP/CP, can/can't be Congressman, can/can't be in a party, etc)

Coming from a country that was PTO'd for 3 months by Romanians after it was added, I'm gonna tell you this is a bad idea.

 

The reason it is bad is because the PTOers can exploit it to kick out the real citizens if they gain 66% of congress. In eKSA, Romanians had total control of congress for 2 months before the Arabs had enough votes in the 3rd month to impeach their CP. If hte Romanians had this law, they could have kicked the Arabs out, and we would now see a Saudi that is controlled by Romanians.
