Because Tomnot is drunk on the idea of power in a dying forum.
You should take a look at his signature, someone with so many impressive achievements might just have enough power to save us.

Most stereotypes are based on facts. That is why they are so damn funny.
the fact that you are a racist?

Most stereotypes are based on facts. That is why they are so damn funny.
the fact that you are a racist?
As slaves got freed many turned to the cultivation of watermelons. White americans got angry at this new freedom and turned the watermelon into a racist symbol associated with african americans. Its therefore a symbol of racism. Your own racism. For the black man its actually a symbol of freedom and independence from white folks. As so many of them was watermelon farmers when they were emancipated.
By the early twentieth century, the watermelon stereotype was everywhere—potholders, paperweights, sheet music, salt-and-pepper shakers. A popular postcard portrayed an elderly black man carrying a watermelon in each arm only to happen upon a stray chicken. The man laments, “Dis am de wust perdickermunt ob mah life.” As a black man, the postcard implied, he had few responsibilities and little interest in anything beyond his own stomach.
So when you use the symbol to attempt to mock africans your in fact just displaying yourself as the racist you are.
