Just a quick question, what are the grey areas on maps in eRepublik? I just dont understand them, and this is a bugging question. Please answer.

actually its the others.  ie countries that do not form part of the game like for example botswana and most of africa( damn racist)

I guess it's not a matter of racism, but a matter of these countries' player base. They have way more serious things, problems mostly, to attend to. Huge areas of Africa do not even have drinkable water, I guess people there wouldn't waste any time/money for a game like erepublik. On the other hand, I might be wrong.
