Make a new topic about Changes to Epic Battles!!

I'm pretty sure you will receive a lot of feedback!

Why is this epic changes good for you? I'm pretty sure there is no player who will like it!
You are punishing players again. You are taking away something good.


At least you should gather some user opinion and feedback from us. Maybe a poll.
Not every player will take the effort to write a ticket or a post and tell you how much he/she dislikes this update!


I have a few ideas in mind, why have you made these changes:

a)  You want players to focus more on an epic battle, and when it comes to epic you expect more energy bars will be bought and thus indirectly increase gold sales.

b ) This is the way you want to fight against epic scripts? Well most likely developers can modify their scripts to hit only at the right interval with ease.

c ) You are tying to slow down leveling up of already big players. As if less damage will be dealt. Reducing the gap between smaller and heavy players, and allowing small ones to catch up. Maybe this is case a ) because this is how you want to force big players to pay more to achieve progress in leveling up.

Latest update kills a whole way of playing the game:

 

Prestige Points are given as follows:

/// 49.00 - 51.00% = 2 Prestige Points per hit when the Battle is Epic
/// Other percentages = 1 Prestige Point per hit when the Battle is Epic

Please notice that 1 Prestige Point per hit is given also when the Battle is not Epic.

 

Well, we are back to the old system of hunting for BH and now we have a lot less reason for D4 players to buy the Blitzkrieg Pack and the Infantry Kit.

What will happen is :

Less weapon and food will be used so market will collaps again.

Less players will buy PowerPacks as some are buying for fun, some for BH but there are some who buys it in hope of making few EB for key battles, and that wont be the case any more.

Still again ALL of them used WEAPONS and FOOD.

I really liked the event, it made us work together and epic fights felt more 'epic'. But making it a permanent change was not a good choice. Eventually you'll notice how bad update this was since you'll lose plenty power/blitzkrieg pack buyers.

Suggestion: Why not remove the epic battles completely? Like before. Players will start fighting for their countries and allies again and not look only for epic battles.

No they will not They will just go 2clik or leave the game. Next month no one will buy packs, cause there is no use of them anymore(except d1 cause they need few mil for epic).
IDK how stupid you need to be to change the rules to this?

I don't care about the packs. I want the game to be like it was before, when the community was more organized in IRC, Skype, etc. Now nobody cares if his country is gonna be occupied by the enemy (except macedonians, but that's another story). Everyone is waiting for an epic battle. Regions don't matter anymore. Everyone is fighting for the "prestige", for energy bars, for rank and for experience points. Nobody fights for his country. People even fight for their natural enemy, because they give more CO...

That time you are talking about is gone. Belive me it is gone... It will never be like that anymore. I do care about my country and will allways do, but they are changing rules to worst this time, cause this wiil shut down the game. Everyone will go 2click cause there wont be anything to do in game :$

In this case they will fight in useless RWs to get BHs.

 

Actually, with the exception of the epic tuesday, the EPIC battles are usually the most important and relevant battles (I say usually because sometimes important battles for minor countries hardly become epic even when they are important, probably because it is unbalanced), where people fight for the rewards but also to help their allies!
