We all know that many games are designed to be P2W, but in the case of eRepublik is the current management strategy and game design even the best option for the company's bottom line?

I AM EXTREMELY PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT I HAVE NEVER, IN THE ENTIRETY OF THIS GAME, IN ANY FORM OR WAY, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, DID I NEVER SPEND ANY DOLLAR OR EURO ON THIS GAME.

The thing some developers don't realise is that a large amount of satisfied F2P players is an essential part of building a P2W player base.

Even if they change the whole game, I don't think I will spend a cent on this game. I'm not that really interested like before the "work as manager" update. I prefer to spend some money on a real game from Steam.

Yeah the "significant improvements" is a bit vague I'll admit, but there does seem to be a general consensus amongst the more active players that the game has gone downhill. What form improvements would take is a whole other series of polls. For me significant improvements would be brining back more of that strategy game complexity and functionality, especially in politics and economics.
