I have two ideas:

1. Elections method:

In the RL all the countrys don't work as eRepublik politic elections system works.

For example in Spain, we choose a new Congress every 4 years, and the president of the Government is choosen by that elected Congress.

The point is, my idea is making a new law: Elections method.

There could be 2 Elections method to choose.

- The actual method.

- The method that I suggested (the method that Spain uses in the RL), every 5th of every months a new Congress is elected, in the day 7, after the elections check, there's a votation ingame for choose a new CP where only the congress members of the country can vote.

- Others methods could be added ofc, they could be suggested here by other users.

2. Congress elections:

All the parties should have their voice in the country, so in the Congress elections there should be a option to vote all the parties of the country, not only the TOP5 partys. A party should receive 2.5% of the votes as minimum for get a place in the Congress. The actual system discriminates minority parties.

I fully agree with the second point. All parties should be eligible for elections. It would also help to line the coffers of eRepublik as more people would be shelling out 40 gold to start a party.

On the first point, a greater level of customisation would be great. In RL Australia the Prime Minister is the effective head of state and is the leader of the majority party and selects the holders of cabinet positions from amongst the elected representatives, or in minority government, the PM and cabinet positions are selected by the agreement of a majority coalition. Essentially congress voting on cabinet positions would bring a similar outcome. In the USA, however, obviously the present system is more true to reality and allows the appointment of cabinet members who aren't even elected representatives in the first place (as essentially this game, down to things like regional divisions, has USA-centricism at it's core).

This greater customisation could also go in line with greater mechanical powers for the different cabinet posts, as well as extra cabinet positions for example immigration, which could similarly be voted either by congress or a national referendum to have the ultimate power over granting citizenship requests if that's the path the nation chose. Mechanics like this would allow for a mix of governance options aside from the all or nothing polarity we have presently.

I really like the idea of different types of democracies and voting systems, it would have a massive positive impact on internal politics as well as allowing for better democracies or ATO operations depending on the countries needs.
