I'd like to suggest that battle honours should be for influence on the outcome and not just damage done for one side or the other.
At present someone can come along and do a large quantity of damage for both sides effectively counterbalancing themselves as far as the battle result is concerned but still walk away with both battle honours.
This I believe is fundamentally wrong and only NET damage should count (if you have damage credited to one side and fight for the other it would then reduce the damage credited you have credited to the other side until it goes negative and becomes damage for the new side).
