Upgrating training grounds(in promotion) is much more profitable than making yourself self-sufficent in food. The tutorial which was provided by Aarin is good, but not complex, it's short, really short! But if you're an English speaker, then you can read Kravenn's great & really big tutorial for new players: http://uktutorial.wordpress.com/ But Other countries also gotta their tutorials, in their own languages, so you should ask mentors from your country about it.

what you SHOULD do is keep your golds

except and ONLY for upgrades when there are promotions

specially the TRAINing Camps
