Dear Citizens,

We are glad to announce the first winning projects of the Plato Foundation.

Sponsorships and Grants:

Icurlybear will receive a 500 Gold Sponsorship for his useful Bot Socrates which can be found on Discord. The Gold will shortly be added to his account.

The eRepublik Idol Project has won a Grant which will extend on the duration of the contest, within the 4 weeks limit. The first deposit of 250 Gold will be added to Eraclev’s account and further instructions will be given for the following ones.

Other projects:

A decision regarding the Writers Challenge Czech Republic has been postponed for the following week, due to a misunderstanding about the project’s leader.

While the Alcateia - Brazilian RH Hunter Team is fun and engaging, the Board did not think it to be fit for an endorsement, as participating in the event already has its own rewards and benefits.

Krakken’s project 30000 reasons why calls for media activity, which Plato always supports. However, given that the project hasn’t managed to attract any participants so far, it has not qualified for a sponsorship.

Ineligible projects:

Among the projects above, we have received other proposals for updates. While these ideas are not bad, they are not the kind of projects the Plato Foundation seeks to reward.

How to help them babies

Some clarifications:

Due to the three idea projects which have been submitted for endorsement, we thought it necessary to give some more details about the kind of projects we are expecting to receive.

The Plato Foundation seeks to reward and support those members of the community who take it upon themselves to make a change in the eWorld. Here we are referring to projects that help the community be a better place.

Whether it’s projects that help equip and grow new players, projects that increase the media activity in a country or useful tools created in accordance with the eRepublik Rules. Contests and marathons, literary projects and rewards for eLifetime achievements - it is the kind of involvement we’d like to see more within the community.

This being said, we’re still waiting for new exciting projects to reward in the following weeks.

Make sure to submit them on the dedicated Discord channel.

I did not necessarily want to win any prize, as I hoped to implement my idea in the game.

So be it!
