That's a funny way to write one.

- There is no food overproduction

- Pppl w/ high storage are taking advantage of it

- +400% on price is not economy fixed/solved/{whatever argument you can find}

- Ppl ain't panicking (they don't have food to play), game is

- Thanks for the lesson, but I bought food before the event

- This is not a price spike

All of this is not generated by the game (a war or smtg else) you can predict,

but by an external event (Plato)

changing highly the rules

giving:

x3 EnergyStorage

x6 EnergyRecovery

which broke the market (I prefer giving food than selling it to my citizens)

and now 100G

which well trap the players who had Golds

by influencing "illegaly" the MM.

I didn't think it was so hard to understand ...

except if you don't want to admit it for whatever reason you want to give to yrself

LATE ANSWER BUT HERE GOES

- There was an overproduction of Food, in fact there is pretty much overproduction of everything that can be produced as WaM, because the costs of operating such companies are not dependant of the product markets. It pushes prices artificially low.

- People with high storages won't be taking an advantage of it, if it is permanent. Temporary events cause people to predict and prepare for price increases like this.

- The price of stuff was artificially low, hence +400% probably pushes it closer to market price.

Game should get rid of WaM to even be able to have a well functioning economy. Now supply and demand don't even have the chance to interact, as producing is practically free, save for the very low WT cost.

We're Sunday evening and I'm too lazy to answer.

I guess actual price (f**ked up by gold buyers, formulas,... etc) shouldn't be mixed up with overproduction. Not sure : P

If we remove WaM, will we have enough workers for total prod ? Whole stuff should be change imo.

Well it seems it's only for 10 dayz : P

I have no clue where you have been hiding last couple of years.
- There was a huge overproduction that has been slowly declining. Somewhat balanced nowadays and might even be well balanced now as, like I said before, prices rise with demand which is healthy.
- Ofcourse people with high storage take more advantage. That to is planning ahead.
- there is a just balance between supply and demand. Thats the reason we got a price spike when demand spiked.
- Ofcourse people panic. The moment the 100 extra ER appeared all that were not prepared bought food. And also some that wanted to speculate. But most that speculate buy on lows ;). After the spike price slowly dropped again and will drop further again once the 100 extra ER ends. Same with the weapons. Albeit to a lesser extend.

Pluto's actions are part of the game and very predictable. And have a way larger effect than a war ever will have. See it as a tiny version of bitcoin. BC also spikes. Even way harder without even a sollid case under it. Pure speculation and way more emotion than the, compared to that, tiny 400% spike we had.

As for the gold; that only had a minimal effect. THAI AS and his constant actions has a way larger effect on the MM.
