While the World Champion Football and now also Tour de France, is keeping many people (including me: GO BELGIUM!) occupied, there is always time to apply for a Plato Foundation Grant or Sponsorship.

---

For this week there is:

MEK Housing will get a Grant for their project that has existed successfully for a long time already. This MU structure has a good supporting base attitude towards new players and reactivating older returning accounts with a community building aspect which makes it a good cause to support even if the MU is on invite only. Rapaz_avr will receive the grant to distribute and report to Khotko. They will receive 250 Gold for the week.

Octienne presented a nice looking article and requested Plato Foundation Sponsorship for his World Championship competition. The board is sorry to say that although the presentation was good, the content of the competition doesn’t contribute enough community activity and it is really close to the final stages of the Final games. That’s why we will not award this with a sponsorship.

The Ongoing projects are:

The Macedonian Air academy is operational and reporting to Icurlybear. They will receive 70 Gold.

The Icarus project is ongoing. They have presented more detailed information for Gyantse to supervise and are now stepping in the standard military program. They will receive 250 Gold.

Mentalist de Bucovina has left Hungary and is in Greece for the next two weeks. He will receive 500 Gold gold this week to spend on Greek fighters.

The UK’s New Players Friday Program will receive 250 Gold after they send a report to Mittekemuis.

The Swiss avio project will receive 50 Gold.

The Russian Air squad reports to Icurlybear and will receive their second grant of 250 Gold.

---

Do you have a project that would help your eCommunity? We’d love to hear about it! Make sure to submit it in the Dedicated Discord channel.

again a lame excuse.where did plato decide that masses of players MUST participate in events.  strange now its not a giveaway anymore but a competition.

different countries have different levels of activity. if you reach 1 country how is it a waste of 250 fake gold.

again I must express my dissapointment in how this supposed COMMUNITY FOUNDATION is run.

mitteke why dont you pack it in . its anyway a massive failure with almost no activity in these articles as proof.

60 contestants and it does not reach enough of the community.  let me explain something to you because your apparently young and naive.  first of the competition is open to all 50000 or so players of the eWorld.

But still, 60 players are participating.  as far as activity goes in this game that is high activity if that is to low why do you then approve the MEK one with only 82 possible participants.  but from experience even the best community driven events have those numbers.  so why

1) I do not decide anything on my own we are with 9 people so majority rules

2) Maybe I should have called it a giveaway instead of competition idk but just having to give up a team and then maybe win something isn't what I would call generating activity.

3) I think I explained the reasoning behind the MEK grant. Again this is a recap of what the majority board decided.

1.  yes i said i am dissapointed in the board.

2.  well its more activity than doing nothing.  also this is the world cup. do you know how many people watch it on television and talk about it.  perhaps his article only reached 60 participants but its 60 more than 0.

tbh i dont even think plato had any of your requirements like activity in game etc etc.  rejection is a bad experience. how are your foundation improving player morale by rejecting almost one or 2 applicants per foundation week.

"The UK’s New Players Friday Program will receive 250 Gold after they send a report to Mittekemuis."

Don't they need to actually submit the first report (which as about 2 weeks overdue) before you give them any money again?
