Is awesome. And there's tons of great mods out there for it too. My favorite are the game of thrones mod and the elders scrolls one.

I currently have a game where I am the leader of a Norse merchant family in the Most Serene Republic of Irland. That's right, Irland, not Ireland.

Unfortunately, I was not able to maintain the Norse pagan faith, despite the Sons of Ragnar being successful in their English conquests-all of the grandsons of Ragnar converted to Catholicism. Besieged on all sides, my family became the first to convert. Catholicism is strong among the Norse families, and despicable Irish culture is still trying to assert itself against the Norse overlords. It will not be successful.

One day, this game will be converted into an EU4 game. One day.

I enjoy starting my characters off with as many genetic disabilities as possible just to see how awful of a dynasty I can create.

I created the Wendish Empire and my dinasty went to hell when I, a Polish guy, took a Mongol to be my wife and 70 years later, my son dies and my grandson gets killed with all of the plots made to him.

I had a game as the Scandanavian Empire. I managed to reform the norse religion and conquer lots of shit. Then the mongols and aztecs invaded pretty much simultaniously.

Has anyone seen those two go against each other? I wonder who'd win.
