i have played mmporpg for many years. they have in game forums and in game chats. the "allies" (ally, group, etc., in eR is MU) refuses to use it because does not have as many features as IRC (rizzon, etc.) and because it is suspected of any bug that allows enemy to read.

 

so, eR team, can you generate confiance on in game chat for military use? that is the question.

 

This,I doubt that ingame mu chat will see much activity,even if it were perfect just couldnt replace the old means of communications.

Actually lots of people don't like to mess with IRC (web)clients and stuff, so an in-game chat could be somehow useful to reach every player.

There used to be an in-game chat, but nobody wanted to use it.

Erepublik team could easily copy the anno labs ingame chat option and bring it to erepublik. It would be awesome really.

Work is still in progress. Feedback has been gathered from the users and we're trying to make it work as well as possible.

 

At some point, more MUs will be added and eventually everyone will get to use it.
