I don't know what's popular or not in Belgium, i never really followed that kind of thing.

I can tell you what i like: metal, Rock & Roll, punk, classic(strauss, beethoven...), folk(and rock variations), kleinkunst(i don't know the english word for that.),... it goes on

I'm not specifically a fan.
It's just a very good song in one of my many plug.dj playlists.
There is a lot of metal and rock in those lists.
