Ok Forum Members.........

 

 

 

 

Since the beginning of eTime smaller countries have always gotten the short end.  So here is a suggestion  for making things more fair and more interesting.

 

Allow 2 or 3 small counties to officially combine forces to ward off their enemies.

 

Example:  Allow Switzerlnad and Netherland to join forces becoming one country for the purposes of military, politics and economy.  It would become Switzerland/Netherland Federation.  There would be one CP and one congress.

 

These Federations could be determined according to:

number of regions

or population/ active citizens

 

Let's make this game more interesting by evening out the playing feild and making it more fair.

I can see this ending in a disaster. Not many players are willing to hand over their country that they have worked so hard to build. Also, this could make them bigger targets.

It's a good idea. But not probable. The small countries might be better off going with medium sized countries. They will be a lot more affective and harder to take

On first read, I like it. But how do the federations maintain the individual identities of their members? Without that, one might lose more than one gained...

how much individual identity do you think switzerland has maintained after being wiped by slovenia for 2 years

There is a better way to make things a little more even - the capitals of the countries  can be made very unatractive for conquest - with lets say 1000% bonus damage for defenders and a 100k. CC payment  requirement to launch an attack against it. This will ensure at least 1 region and a congress for the little ones

unfortunately you are correct.... unless there is a profit motive... and I think this change would be profitable for them.
