Although it looks a bit too much, I say to not return to the old style. A change was needed for sure. The current one could be revamped a bit.

This is not an upgrade, this is a downgrade.

The filtering we had with the old page was working fine already. Adding favorites to it is a nice touch, yet the layout of the page is really no improvement. The old pages had one downside: There was way to much space between the lines so you could not see enough campaigns in one glance. So if you wanted to improve things you should have made space usage by a campaign less. The way you changed it now is really a mess. For example: When looking at campaigns I need to see all campaigns of my nation immediately, along with the timer and visible if I did hit in it like was the case on the old page. Aligned so you see it at a glance. The fewer graphics the better for things like that... Don't hide information in some app style tiles. Please try to live by less is more when designing and don't try to create an app style webgame!
