the commander (http://www.erepublik...profile/5564352) is a dead citizen and it isnt changing who is commander except to another dead citizen, the captain (http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/5566732). it means the DO cant be changed or anything else.

That's not right.... someone should fix that.

 

This is the normal proceeding in these matters(i think).

 

If the commander decides to leave the military unit without appointing any full member as new commander, following things will happen

• If there's second commanders in the military unit, the highest ranked second commander takes his/her place;
• If there's no second commanders in the military unit:
  • if there's a member with a rank of Commander or higher who have been in the unit for more than 2 days, he/she will become the new commander
  • if there's no members with a rank of Commander or higher who have been in the unit for more than 2 days, the unit will not have a commander until someone fulfills the requirements
• if the commander is the last member of the military unit, the unit will be erased for good

Note: If the commander hasn't logged to eRepublik in 7 consecutive days, the commander will be removed and the above procedure will take place

It of-course does not say what happens when a commander is eDead.

Unlike political parties, in an MU you stay even after edeath.

 

I hope something can be clarified here so the wiki can also include this info.

None of the members do not meet the necessary condition to be eligible for Commander, you need at least Commander rank.

If you are in MU for more then 2 days and you are not a Commander yet, then I suggest you to send a ticket to Bugs.

Similar problem here:

 

I've foundend a MU (http://www.erepublik...group-show/3275) more than an year ago.

 

In last month I leave the unit and give it to other players. Some days ago they decide to join other MU, so Invite in the MU and leave it.

 

Now I'm the only player in the MU, that have "invite only" access. But I'm not Commander with more than Commander rank points..

If the 2 days waiting time have past and you still are not a commander, i suggest that you send a ticket to the bug department.
