Changes To Campaigns And Epic Battles

It's been a few days since the change. Here is the amount of Epic Battles we've had so far:

Division 1: 75
Division 2: 57
Division 3: 27
Division 4: 61

 

Wow! Impressive since in day 1 there were ZERO! You did well with the formula in the following days. 

But how many of these battles lasted more than 10 minutes?

But I really want to add Mayors. The political mode will be more atractive for players!

Monitored it 6 days and I have to say it's a nice, well balanced, update. Good job admins!

 

Good to see it originates from a players idea. Lets hope the idea I did send in about the energy centers will be implemented as well as that's even more fitting after this update!

first I was thinking that it will be but now i see it is not
why?
no one is fighting, every one is waiting for an epic battle( even it is not important battle) just make it epic and everyone fights like crazy
not important which side or who will win.
you just make it we ignore all the other battles and wait for epic one.
there is no good or important battle everyone just fight for himself
so epic war is bad idea

Agreed.

 

The 'Epic Battle' was a name given to the battles the players really wanted to win and thus fought hard for and thats why they became 'Epic'. Old exampels are 'Hello Kitty' and 'Lion King' where one alliance wanted an important region with raw material meanwhile the other alliance tried to defend, keep it.

 

Again this update favours single player mode and makes this update just one in a long row of updates killing the community and the smaller countries.

 

If Admin ask why activity is going down the answer is that their changes of the game has created an environment where co-operation simply does not pay off. I have listed my suggestions of a quickfix for erepublik already here on the forums. Topic 'Let us fight each other instead of fighting 'plato'.

 

Lets go back and build countries and fight against each other instead of just click where plato tell us to click in order to gain personal achievements. The game is dying.

Yeah, and I'm one of many who is fighting only in epic battle.

I don't care the side (obviously I cannot fight against my old friends and allies Greece and Croatia), Just looking for the epic logo and maybe if there's a CO...

 

Last week I reached 10k pp without wasting EB.

Got agree with sin696 here.

And look at how a lot of epic battles end up with one side overpowering the other by a huge advantage in the wall...

the idea of epic is good but for Single player

give 20/6 recover energy permanent

and the weekly challenge count only at d order :blink:

So what is the effect of this then?

 

Well looking at the ranking pages we can conclude that a few tanks have done more damage than the bottom 50 countries. I have done twice the amount of eNorway for example.

 

Why sign MPP's when the damage output from a single player > country?

A way to better balance things would be to just make the weekly challenge twice as better as it is now, and to cancel the double PP gain from epic battles.
