so with the new houses there is already debate over the fact that you cant work as manager in house raws. and it makes sense why they are angry since only Q5 is the best option at the moment because workers salaries would all be the same. so i think one way to fix this could be to invent worker skill level which would divide people into 5 categories and each one can only produce that quality or lower. you would have 5 seperate job markets, actually it would be 7 because this would be for weapons and food too. the way to increase worker skill could be either the more days you work the more skill you gain or you could introduce a new thing like education and just like training you would have to "go to school" every day and get a little better skill for a price and you could have different levels of school too. maybe even you could  create schools for a company and people would have to buy them or work in them or something idk

 

p.s. 

instead of having 7 different job markets you could just have the 1 base salary but it would be like you get paid $50 for every 1 skill point or something and the more skill you get more money based on percentage. and that same percentage of skill is what determines your production. and going off of that i just thought of another idea idk if its good but what if the stronger or smarter you are you would require more food for regenerating health so if you were really high in skill you would take more energy for you to do stuff. idk but it would have to be just a little more nothing to big because it still needs to be worth it to get level up

Working should improve skill but ppl who played 3-4-5-6 years should get boost to train their skill. Something like

Players with less than 1year dont get training boost

1-2yrs old players get +50%

2-3years old players get +75%

3-4yrs get +100%

4-5yrs get +125%

5-6yrs get +150%

6+yrs get +175%

 

and that skill training boost should last 30-60days of working and if base skill would be 0.1 that means that 1year old player would have after 30 days work skill 4.5 while 6yrs old player would have 8.25 work skill.

After that everybody would improve their work skill by 0.1

New players would get first day 1, 2nd day 0.5, 3rd day 0.4 4th day 0.3 5th day 0.2 and after that 0.1

I would be amused to see the opposite, such as an old-age penalty that gives less production to the old players. Additionally there could be a high-damage penalty on production. It makes sense too, because if you partake in a lot of steroids and fighting every day you will not be focused to do good work. You will probably break your tools and make a mess, then injure your co-workers with the only argument that you know.

i like the penalty! every time you wam you lose 1% strength for the next 24 hours.  this would encourage fighters to not wam!  with out people wamming so much, production would go way down.

 

but then maybe add a new item "meth" than can be taken to offset some of the wam damage penalty.  and gold is required to buy it!

What is for sure is that the job market is cracked, only those who produce high value items from high quality companies can hire people.

A solution is needed.

just like people stopped hiring workers and stopped working in the low q weps.  so too will they do it with the low q raws.

Work skills existed long ago. Do not know when and why they were removed, because I did not play the game for long time.
And the raw should be able to get 0.01 cc. Then if you can't sell them and inventory is full, you can't buy food and have to ask the Admins to wipe your inventory. Sounds nice. Why producing and stockpiling something that can't be sold?
Bonus for old players with 60k str and still in D1? Are you joking?
Food, weapons and houses sounds like 3 skills than can be implemented and increasing one has to decrease the others. I think that there were more skills long ago, but I doubt any skill to be reintroduced.
