I'm confused

I'm sure it said recovery was 2 every 20 mins originally and several people have written articles saying this, yet now it's 2 every 6 mins.  If that's per house that's a maximum energy increase of 12 per 6 mins - which is a lot.

In addition it seems you can change residence.  Is this true because I assumed from the statement that you couldn't go back to being a nomad that you couldn't change residence "Once a citizen becomes a resident of a city, they can no longer turn back to their “nomad” status."  Does it just mean you must move to another residence?

In response to people wondering what the benefit of becoming a resident are...

So far:
+50 energy when you're "home" (persists for 30 mins after leaving, enough time to spend it)
+20/hr energy recovery

With my ECs, 0 PP and a Q1 house (let's call it old fart farm mode) I have 750 energy and 140/he recovery.

Give me freedom, I want to turn on the house when I want it.
It's the unfair, I'm not able to buy a new house q2-q5 every week. It is very expensive. I will have to stop the active game. Do you want to have such a result?

Does the number of houses in ONE city geve +2/6min multiplied by that number of houses, and that is the question for energy pool to? Or the maximum benefit is +2/6min and +50energy poll for all tipes and numbers of houses. Also if i activate 5 houses is the tax been paid for each house by your graficon or the one tax is for all?

Also does the rules goes for the permanent houses to or just the one that we buy and use?

Only negatives for larger cities but no upside?

THIS

There should be bonuses for larger infrastructures ....

If you were talking about economy, i'm afraid any bonuses will contradict the "polution" debuff indirectly

But, what if like 1.08x influence bonus for defending metropolis? (just like determination bonus, it won't affecting ranks)

Signature removed. Please follow the rules, as defined in the Rules.

Well not really... I love being creative.

Yeah that or a defense shielding or something strategic.

In Hearts of Iron each region has a Infrastructure reading which helps transportation in that region... maybe if cities grow to metropolis's they can reduce cost of travel in tandem with regional defense bonuses (maybe guerilla bonuses)

City budgets will serve for something. They will be spent on temporary upgrades/laws, which will make rich big cities attrative places to live, I guess.

This is looking like a great new module. But my main criticism is about your info about this change. You should inform us about big changes like this a few days before the update, many of us were very confused and even the market prices changed quickly (houses). Also, you should tell us more about the benefits of selecting a big down and how the Mayor/City council gets elected and what they will do.

I read that you didn't want to make many bigger changes to the game, and a part of that should be to inform us about updates like these before they go live.

I have a question, serious one.

Let's assume Romania gives region X to Hungary (lol) for rent.

X is now Hungarian.

1. Who will be able to 'install' mayor and city council there? Romanians only or Hungarians only? I mean: citizenship country of region origin, or the new owner?

2. What will happen with the city budget - will it be managed ONLY by Mayor and City Council, or can be managed by Hungarian politics (CP, Congress) ?

Please, answer those. There are so many secrets, while it is so important.

Thanks.

This update was long expected! I'm happy finally arrived to the game.

Just there are still some clues about the elections, council, use of budget and taxes, but I think will be a good thing for the game for sure.

Good job.
