The energy pool does not increase at all for houses, got just a 50 central park bonus, all else is default. That's not what is promised.

Clarify minimum building tax and as well what you mean with can no longer be paused. i never noticed one can pause it . if i remain a nomad will i be able to pause them as i like . also some confusion exists (with other players) one can still freely move around the world and engage in battles just as long as you spend the majority of your time at home.
lastly so explain why everyone would want to stay in big cities when a town has a 20% durability bonus and lower taxes.

Brb bringing Erius back to get hot foursome.
It'd be amusing to see how USA is going to cope with the 50 mayors they are gonna get, should there indeed be a mayor for each region with no possibility of combining them.
i can almost guarantee the rate of my Suicidal Thoughts per minute will increase exponentially while managing this

So what are the bonuses for larger cities? You pay more taxes and the houses don't last as long. What are the benefits?
And screw the inability to pause houses. I never have any house other than Q1 active.

Nice update ^^
Do you need to have the nationality of the region to be Resident ? To run for Mayor ?
And can we change the localisation of ours Compagnies and Holdings ?

Also, the announcement says +2/20 minutes, but ingame tooltip shows +2/6 minutes...

If you change the benefits of a house based on the quality then the things may change. For example a Q2 provides 2 overtime points and have +4 energy. And so on. Then it may worth the price. Paying twice, three times or even 10 times more for a house with the same benefit is not logical.
I noticed some stupid answer to your post, so just wanted to add, that you are exactly right. The problem is already visible with the geometric progression of costs of houses' production. With the update, prices soared so unless the benefits are also made to scale geometrically, it makes no sense to use houses for more working tickets or for more energy. At this rate it will be cheaper to use gold to buy energy bars instead of Q5 houses...
Alternatively they could change the amount of HRM required to build a house, and then people could afford more houses properly balanced with the additional work instances. But we know this is not happening, so we have to settle for making profit off those who can't do the math

What are the thresholds of city sizes?

What are the thresholds of city sizes?
I 2nd this question ... this is very important but isn't mentioned anywhere. Basically, the house prices have gone up >20%, but the house durability bonus is only economically feasible in Q1 towns.
Another question - Why would anyone want to live in bigger cities ?
Also, who can run for mayor/council in an occupied region ? Only town residents, or the citizens of the country that is originally in possesion of the town/region, OR anybody in the world ?

Why choose bigger city? As long as I can follow the logic- the purpose is to stay in the small towns. If country is overpopulated with just few regions- they are f***d up.
The idea is to make the citizens more permanent. You can't work as manager and live in another city without having to pay for that.
Anyway... we will have to wait for the final "fine print"

In the Demographics section the residents count is stuck.
The count is accurate in the residents tab and on the region's page.

So as i understand it, now i have to pay various new taxes and I won't be able to pause my houses. In what way is this update good for me? Are you out of your mind trying to get rid of the few people remaining? You are really insane. And instead of fixing the crappy congress election system you are introducing this mayor bulshit, nice....dig your own grave

Once a citizen becomes a resident of a city, they can no longer turn back to their “nomad” status.
And what are the benefits of being a nomad status?
It sounds more sympathetic to being a volunteer bird and I will stay that way for now If you can not go back to that.

Nice update. You throw garbage like this out and answer no questions.

Another question - Why would anyone want to live in bigger cities ?
Sorry for my english.
If a region has good bonuses, many people will put its holding in there.
When one has an holding full of wam (work as manager) companies in that region, he prefers to have there his residence, because he have to return each day in that region.
So, the region with high bonus, probably will become full of residents (metropolis).
This is why one would like to live in bigger cities.

And what are the benefits of being a nomad status?
1) You don't pay taxes (between 1% and 5%) every time you activate an house.
2) You can pause the houses activation

Can a citizen from one country say Brazil if they reside in a region in the UK say wales, can they vote for the wales mayor?
How long does a citizen have to reside in a region to become a registered voter?
edit: 4 days later still no reply
